By creating an account or using StudioMode you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
StudioMode is a discovery interface for free-for-profit and licensed beats hosted on third-party platforms (YouTube, BeatStars, Airbit, etc.). We don't host audio. We aggregate metadata, parse it for searchability, and link out to the original source for downloads.
We are not party to the license agreement for any beat. The license terms shown on the original source page (e.g. the YouTube description) are the terms that apply. "Free for profit" generally means you can use the beat for non-exclusive commercial purposes with producer credit, but every beat is different — check the original description before commercial release.
Don't:
Violations may result in account suspension.
Paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel anytime from Account → Manage plan; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't refund partial months. If you dispute a charge in good faith, email us — we usually just refund.
If you're a producer and want a beat removed from the StudioMode catalog, email hello@studiomode.app with the YouTube URL or BeatStars link. We'll remove it within 48 hours, no questions asked.
We comply with the DMCA. Submit takedown notices to dmca@studiomode.app with: identification of the work, location of the infringing content, your contact info, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement, and your signature.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the catalog is complete, accurate, or that any specific beat is licensed for any particular use. To the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or $50, whichever is greater.
You can delete your account anytime from Account → Delete account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms; we'll email active users for material changes. Continued use after the change date means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
