How it works. Notes are mapped to MIDI semitone
numbers (C=0, C#=1, …, B=11), shifted by the interval between
original and target key, then mapped back to letter names.
Capo fret = (semitones from played key up to
sounding key). For the chord transposer we parse out
the root note (handles sharps, flats, double-letter names like
Bb), shift it, and re-attach the chord quality (m, 7, maj7,
sus2, dim, etc) unchanged. Slash chords like
C/G have both halves transposed.
