⏲️ DELAY + REVERB TIME CALCULATOR
BPM in. Milliseconds out.
Type your BPM, get the exact delay time for every note division — quarter, 8th, 16th, dotted, triplet. Plus reverb decay times to match 1, 2, 4, or 8 bars. Tap any cell to copy.

Reverb decay matched to bar count
Use as RT60 (time for tail to drop -60 dB). Pre-delay tip: match to 1/16 note for snare reverb, 1/8 dotted for vocal.
How it works. One bar of 4/4 at B
BPM lasts
240,000 / B milliseconds. A quarter
note is 60,000 / B, an 8th is half that, a 16th
is a quarter of that, and so on. Dotted =
base value × 1.5 (= 3/2 of the straight note).
Triplet = base value × 2/3 (three triplets
fit in the space of two straights). For reverb tails, common
mix wisdom: 1-2 bars for tight rooms, 4-8 bars for big halls
/ ambient pads. Metronome ·
