How to read it. X-axis is frequency on a
log scale (so 100 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz are equally spaced).
Y-axis is amplitude in dB. The orange "peak hold" trace
shows the loudest level each frequency has hit since you
started — useful for catching transient harshness. Use the
band labels to diagnose: mud at 200-400 Hz
makes a mix sound boxy; harsh 2-4 kHz
causes listener fatigue; missing 8-12 kHz
makes vocals dull. Pair with LUFS
meter for full loudness diagnosis.
